Its been a decent week. Mom has not changed very much. The nausea comes and goes daily but never last very long. Mom is extremely fatigued. Sleeps a lot but is always very tired. On Wednesday, the Hospice nurse came. It was an interim nurse. Thats actually a good thing. It would be disappointing if she was going to be the regular nurse. Every question that Jack asked was answered with a reply, similar to "You know your mom is getting older" or "its part of the aging process" We all know that things do change as we get older but generally there more to it when life changes over night (in less that 30 days. Mom continues to be surprised at how many friends continue to call every week. She smiles at the flowers and candies. Life is good inspite of some of the cards that are dealt to us. Here at home, next door to mom we have had several surprise visits. The Black Bears have been back a few times. A Red Shouldered Hawk has found a perch to use and a small rabbit has been munching. That along with the butterflies and black snakes give reason to smile. One of the bears that likes to come by has a white V on his Chest. He does not like cameras and seems to hiss. Mom has been after Jack to move into the 21 Century for months and yesterday he did that. He went from an old flip phone to a iPhone. I think he is enjoying it. This morning we had breakfast and then went to Church (DVD of a prior church service). We had a nice time and then it was time for a snack and nap. This afternoon we visited and napped. Mom continues to keep up with her prayer list. You would be shocked to see how large it is. It seems that so many people that are mentioned are on that list that she prays for EVERY NIGHT. This is a real list. Mom prays by name for most of her family and many of her friends. She wants so much to see all of us in heaven. She has very little pain. The biggest thing is the Fatigue. Oh so tired. Until next time, Thanks again
