Subject: 4 Mom, Grandma, GeGe, Aunt, Friend



Its Sunday night. Mom has started taking an anti nausea drug this morning and it is helping. She is eating a lot better and that gives hope for a little more quality of life. Over the last 10 days mom has eaten very little however, after having an anti nausea medication this morning around 6:30 she had a great breakfast around 8:30. It consisted of one egg, a waffle, a little coffee and I think a piece of toast. It made me smile. No Nausea at all. Mom is still very tired and sleeps a bunch but she still has a great attitude. Mom had a decent lunch. This afternoon Suzette came over for a visit. It was nice and she bought Mom a beautiful bunch of Flowers. Jennifer's little girl also bought mom flowers. Friends make mom smile and that makes me very happy. Mom surprised us all. I made chili today and sent some up to moms house with Jack. He was going to have some and Mom said she wanted some too, with rice. She had a nice serving and then wanted some ice cream for desert. After dinner we watched a little television together. Mom is feeling a little better (no nausea) but very fatigued. I can only hope things can level out and not progress as fast as they were with her improved appetite. Tomorrow the Hospice Nurse will be at the house. Also the wheel chair should be here. We are hopeful that things will be a little easier for mom. As always, her spirits are unbelievable. She is an inspiration. I'll continue to keep you up to date.
